Step 1: Choose Your Accommodation

From our Ambassador Suites, with private rooftop terraces and panoramic views, to our Tankwa Chalets nestled in the succulent Karoo garden, choose the perfect luxury accommodation option to suit your travel budget and Cape Town safari itinerary.

Please Note: Inverdoorn only permits children aged 4 and older on safari game drives. While Inverdoorn Private Game Reserve is a family-friendly Big 5 safari destination, the lodge does not offer any children’s facilities and is best suited to adults.

Step 2: Book Your Big 5 Safari

After selecting your accommodation, proceed to make a reservation. You may need to provide some personal information and payment details, so ensure you have your credit card or payment method ready.

Step 3: Confirm and Pay

Before finalising your reservation, review all the details, including your accommodation choice, chosen dates, and pricing. Make any necessary adjustments at this stage.

Once you are satisfied with your booking selections, confirm your booking by making the required payment. We accept various payment methods, making it convenient for our local and international safari guests.

Step 4: Receive Booking Confirmation

Upon successful payment, you will receive a booking confirmation email with all the details of your reservation. Please check your spam or ‘All Mail’ inbox if you have not yet received your booking confirmation. We recommend keeping this confirmation email for your records.

Step 5: Plan Your Trip

Start planning your Karoo Big 5 Game Reserve journey. Research local attractions, prepare your travel documents, and start booking any necessary travel arrangements, such as flights to Cape Town and transportation to Inverdoorn Private Game Reserve.

Step 6: Book Your Safari Activities

Inverdoorn offers many additional (optional add-ons) safari activities, including e-bike toursin-room spa treatments, and the world-famous Cheetah Educational experience. The Karoo Picnic Horse Trail and Karoo High Tea all require at least 1 week’s notice from guests. Please arrange your activity bookings through Reservations. In-room spa bookings are accepted upon arrival.

Step 7: Plan Your Transport

Inverdoorn offers scheduled, return transfers from most major hotels in central Cape Town.
