Below, you will find a list of the questions most frequently asked by our guests.

Overnight guests may check into their rooms at approximately 14h00. We invite guests to have lunch before check in, at 13h00. Guests may also enjoy swimming and the pool area.

Check out is at 10h00 for overnight guests.

No, Reception service is not available 24 hours a day, as we are a small reserve.

Yes, we can look after your luggage. If at check in your room is not ready yet or in case of early check out after. We will store your luggage free of charge on your check-in and check-out days.

A wireless internet connection is available throughout the lodge area and the rooms.

The nearest airport is Cape Town International off the N1 national highway, 2,5 hours away from Inverdoorn, but please be advised that due to it being a high traffic area highway, you will need to check your google maps beforehand for the time you need to be at the airport to see how much time you need to allocate during those times. During peak hours, for instance, we advise adding 2 hours to your travel time.

Take the R43 to Ceres, R46 to R356 towards Sutherland.

Breakfast is included in the price, for overnight packages.

The buffet breakfast includes a selection of croissants, breads, continental breakfast offerings, charcuterie, cheese, eggs and hot breakfast offerings.

Breakfast is served at 9am every day.

No room service is offered at Inverdoorn.

All rooms are strictly non-smoking.

No, but some rooms are larger than others and can accommodate wheelchair access.

No, we do not.

All our rooms have showers, and the Ambassador Chalets and Suite have baths.

The hotel has one bar outdoors at the main pool, and one inside the restaurant.

Our game reserve has car parking.

The car park is free.

As soon as you have planned your trip! We sometimes have last-minute availability, but in general the earlier you book, the higher the chance of booking your stay on your preferred dates.

Prices online or directly are the same.

The prices quoted are always per person.

Children of 4-years-old and above may go on game drives when supervised by an adult.

Yes, we accept Visa and MasterCard.

Yes, we have a restaurant – and two other areas where we serve meals, depending on the weather.

Seasons in the Western Cape are roughly: Summer from November to March. Autumn from April to June. Winter from June to end of August. Spring from September to November.

Any time of year is fine.

As your rangers will explain, there are no guarantees when it comes to wild animals. Our rangers do their best to find the best views of animals that they can within your 2 -3 hour game drive.

Wear what you would usually wear when you pack for a holiday, including a very warm jacket for our winter and spring time, beanies and gloves for game drives. Pack a lighter jacket with your normal clothing for your summer stays, plus swimwear for visits all year round as we have swimming pools which guests can enjoy in most seasons in the Ceres Karoo.
